Simple handling, highest quality

Bosch Manufacturing Solutions means highest quality. This is also reflected in the design of our coating systems. Based on the requirements of our own production, we have optimized all components in terms of durability and ease of maintenance. A modern system control reliably detects deviations and prevents quality losses and facilitates operation. The plasma sources developed by us allow significantly higher coating rates and thus excellent productivity. For a-C:H layers we use a microwave plasma source. This enables plasma generation and substrate bias to be decoupled. Irrespective of the load, the layer hardness can be adjusted in addition to a very high coating rate (factor 2 compared to standard systems). We have developed a pulsed arc source especially for ta-C layers. This enables coating rates comparable to those of a-C:H layers and avoids the well-known disadvantage of very long coating times.

All of our coating systems are modular and a variety of options are available to adapt the technology to your requirements. This provides the base for producing all common coatings. PCS DESKTOP

Desktop rig with high rate process for DLC

The PCS DESKTOP impresses above all with its compact design and the extremely short coating times. With it, individual parts and small series can be flexibly coated with little effort. The plasma jet source enables the realization of DLC coatings of up to 5 μm within 15 - 30 minutes. In addition, the plasma jet cleans the component surface of particles and dust. In this way, the system can usually be placed directly in standard production environments without the need of a dedicated coating room. Contact us for more information

PCS800

Flexibility for development and production

By combining different plasma sources, the PCS800 can be used flexible and is suitable both as a development system and for small to medium scale series production. Depending on the configuration, it can be used to produce high-quality DLC layers as well as ta-C or hard material layers such as CrN. The system can be equipped with measuring devices such as mass spectrometers or plasma monitors for analysis and process monitoring. Contact us for more information

Coating systems of the PCS1000 type are used worldwide in all Bosch coating centers and are continuously being further developed. Robustness and user-friendliness are particularly important to us. The PCS OPTIMA is the optimal solution for the implementation of coatings that are subject to special requirements. Designed for large volume components
