H2 & Fuel Cell

The global trend toward sustainable energy sources is also changing mechanical engineering. Hydrogen, in particular, will play an important role in future energy generation. From hydrogen production to hydrogen utilization and storage, our systems cover a wide range of production and test equipment including the corresponding process technologies in the are of water treatment, electrolysis, stationary fuel cells (PEMFC) and mobile fuel cells (SOFC).

When it comes to climate-neutral production and transportation, green hydrogen is the way to go. Hydrogen is a clean fuel that produces only water when burned in a fuel cell. Hydrogen production is proven and technologically manageable, meaning that production can be ramped up quickly if there is sufficient demand. It is an attractive fuel option for transportation and power generation and can be used in cars, homes, portable power and many other applications.

From Water to Fuel Cell

Our water purification technologies help to conserve valuable drinking water reserves. Our technology is particularly efficient, reducing the feed water required for the production of process water by up to a third compared to conventional solutions on the market.

Water Purification

When producing green hydrogen, electrolysis systems require high-purity water. Impurities in the water can disable electrolysers in a very short time. A water purification system is required. Our technologies also help maintain valuable drinking water reserves. Furthermore, they are particularly efficient, reducing the feedwater required for producing water for the electrolysis process by up to one-third compared to common solutions on the market. In addition the systems can also be adapted to produce drinking water.

We offer proven fuel cell power module (FCPM) manufacturing technologies for the production of electrolysis modules.

Electrolysis

Hydrogen can be produced when water molecules are split into oxygen and hydrogen molecules by the electrolyzer. In the process, electrical energy is converted into chemical energy - hydrogen is produced. We offer proven fuel cell power module (FCPM) manufacturing and testing technologies for the production of electrolysis stacks and components.
